CurbSuite Sales ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information when you use our mobile application.

To provide our services, we collect certain information necessary for app functionality and secure payment processing.
- Camera Access: Our app requires access to your device camera specifically for barcode scanning via Google ML Kit. Images are processed locally on your device and are not stored or transmitted to our servers.
- Location Information: We collect precise and approximate location data to facilitate secure transactions. This is required by our payment processor, Square, for fraud prevention and regulatory compliance.
- Financial Data: All payments are processed securely through the Square Mobile Payments SDK. We do not store raw credit card numbers or sensitive authentication data on our servers.
- Device Identifiers: We may collect unique device identifiers (such as Android ID) to maintain security sessions and prevent fraudulent activity.
2. Data Sharing with Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data. We share information with third-party service providers only as necessary to operate the app:
- Square: To process payments, verify transaction locations, and prevent fraud.
- Google Play Services / ML Kit: To enable barcode scanning and app performance monitoring.
3. Permissions
The app requests the following permissions for the reasons stated below:
CAMERA: Used for scanning product barcodes.
LOCATION: Used for payment security and Square hardware connectivity.
BLUETOOTH: Used to connect to Square contactless card readers.
AUDIO: Used to support Square card readers via the audio jack. No audio is recorded or stored.
4. Data Retention
Since CurbSuite Sales does not require user accounts, we do not maintain persistent personal profiles. Transaction records are maintained by Square in accordance with financial record-keeping laws.
5. Children’s Privacy
Our services are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
